Congratulations to the team at Southwest Sweeping for another great season of quality service. Our operators did a fantastic job getting all of the work completed before the cold came. With plenty of construction sweeping, cleanup before paving crews, they kicked operations into high gear. Our mechanics continued the preventive maintenance and equipment repairs  needed to keep the brooms turning.   With over 40 seasons in the books we are just as committed as ever to serving northeast Ohio’s street sweeping needs

Special Event Sweeping: Cleaning Up After A Color Run

Local 5k road races have been popular for many years, but lately, race directors have been taking these events to a new level by putting on so-called color runs.  Runners start in clean white t-shirts, and as they make their way through the course, they are doused with brightly colored cornstarch.  By the time a participant crosses the finish line, they sport a colorful rainbow of colors from head to toe.  This is a great way to liven up what might be an otherwise ho hum 5K, and the runners always have a great time, but it makes a huge mess!
